Skull Hammer News

Skull Hammer will be releasing their brand new album “Pay It In Blood” very soon. Here’s what vocalist/guitarist had to say about it:
We are very proud and excited about completing our 1st full-length CD “Pay It In Blood” featuring 10 all-new tracks. Recorded where “Fear The Truth” was done at White Studios with producer Jim Foster and Engineer Anthony “Antman” Lewis, this album is a progression from the 1st EP. Slightly “thrashier” and with an even bigger sound production-wise, this CD is guaranteed to blast some heads off. 1st 100 copies will include signed 11 x 17″ color poster!
-Of course each CD includes 8 panel fold-out with color photos and full lyrics.Check out pre-releases “I Defy” and the title track on our MySpace player.
Thanks to everyone who has befriended and supported the band from the beginning.
This album wouldn’t have been possible without all the great people invloved, and is a testament to relentless hard-work and dedication.Check our calendar for the CD release party coming soon.

Quotes
You give me a stage and you will see the difference between Nokturnel and most other bands.
— Tom Stevens, Nokturnel, http://bit.ly/Injd6yThe underlying theme is through the discovery of truth we find ultimate hopelessness. Each song explores death in a different context and theme.
— Voldamares, Eclipse Eternal, http://bit.ly/Hv2kYEI think illegal downloading is fine if you download just to listen, and if you like it, you buy it. If you don’t like it, delete it off your computer.
— Mike Priest, Absence of the Sacred, http://bit.ly/IGNpWkThe lyrics are mainly based in fantasy, and try to convey a larger concept, peppered with metaphors that hint at some very personal events and feelings.
— Ruptured Souls, The Furious Horde, http://bit.ly/HyfPUxI think more bands should prioritize exposure over sales. The more exposure, the more sales. Be it ticket sales, album sales, or merch sales. That’s the way I see it.
— Necrol, Secrets She Kept, http://bit.ly/HEaNHXI am personally still a CD buyer and probably always will be. I like having the physical artwork in my hands. Mp3’s to me are not very attractive because I feel I’m not getting my money’s worth.
— Will, Vesperian Sorrow, http://bit.ly/Hx69gWEven when all seems fine Plaag will still be around to do a little tormenting here and there...
— Somber von Plaag, Plaag, http://bit.ly/IvTyW2Cryptic Throne is a dark shamanic ritual. An entity which exists for the Primordial Thursian Worship of Dark Germanic Heathenism.
— Abyssous, Cryptic Throne, http://bit.ly/IlJsYs...so now we’re thinking about the next step. And don’t worry. When we hit the road, I guarantee we won’t miss the UK!
— Damyen, Northern Plague, http://bit.ly/JuT8SgWe don’t adhere to any specific writing style. If something works, it gets improved, then it gets used!
