Hour of Penance and Prosthetic Records have recently announced that they have joined forces! The band are currently writing their label debut and are also ready to set the world on fire with a tour alongside Deicide, Belphegor and The Amenta!
Hour of Penance said the following about the signing:
“This is a very important opportunity for Hour of Penance and a big reward for almost 10 years of activity of this band. We’re very proud to be part of the Prosthetic records family and we’re eager to start working with such a great label. A new label, a new line up and of course a new album which is obviously in the works and will be recorded soon… expect a new HOUR OF PENANCE album this year and of course be prepared! We will tour as much as we can in 2011!”

Six Feet Under announce new drummer
Following on from yesterday’s report, where we told you that Terry Butler and Greg Gall had left Six Feet Under, today we can tell you that a new drummer for the band has now been found.
Kevin Talley (Dying Fetus, Chimaira) is now officially in the SFU line-up. Talley will on the upcoming album and fulfill touring duties. Vocalist Chris Barnes posted the following message on the band’s official website:
“I am 110% stoked to have Kevin join SFU he is undeniably one of the best, if not THE best drummer in death metal, and I’m proud to have him along for the ride!”
