Loucifer Speaks is a Metal / Rock webzine (that’s what you’re on now!), forum and so much more. Basically I’m hoping to add a whole load of random goodies to the site as time goes on.
The original Loucifer Speaks site was set up in March 2007, but on 7th February 2010 I decided that it would be cool to swap it from a standard HTML site, to a WordPress one (you’ve gotta love WordPress!). All of the older articles, reviews and interviews are still online and can still be accessed by their old links. I’ll be adding my personal favourites to this new site as and when I can.
One of the reasons behind relaunching the Loucifer Speaks zine as a WordPress site is so that it should now be easier for other contributors to add their own reviews, interviews and articles to the site. If you’re interested in posting your work on Loucifer Speaks please contact me. This can either be done by posting a comment on the blog, Twitter, MySpace or by good old email.

You give me a stage and you will see the difference between Nokturnel and most other bands.
— Tom Stevens, Nokturnel, http://bit.ly/Injd6y...so now we’re thinking about the next step. And don’t worry. When we hit the road, I guarantee we won’t miss the UK!
— Damyen, Northern Plague, http://bit.ly/JuT8SgI think illegal downloading is fine if you download just to listen, and if you like it, you buy it. If you don’t like it, delete it off your computer.
— Mike Priest, Absence of the Sacred, http://bit.ly/IGNpWkEven when all seems fine Plaag will still be around to do a little tormenting here and there...
— Somber von Plaag, Plaag, http://bit.ly/IvTyW2The underlying theme is through the discovery of truth we find ultimate hopelessness. Each song explores death in a different context and theme.
— Voldamares, Eclipse Eternal, http://bit.ly/Hv2kYEI think more bands should prioritize exposure over sales. The more exposure, the more sales. Be it ticket sales, album sales, or merch sales. That’s the way I see it.
— Necrol, Secrets She Kept, http://bit.ly/HEaNHXThe lyrics are mainly based in fantasy, and try to convey a larger concept, peppered with metaphors that hint at some very personal events and feelings.
— Ruptured Souls, The Furious Horde, http://bit.ly/HyfPUxWe don’t adhere to any specific writing style. If something works, it gets improved, then it gets used!
— Gideon, Crow Black Sky, http://bit.ly/InizpyCryptic Throne is a dark shamanic ritual. An entity which exists for the Primordial Thursian Worship of Dark Germanic Heathenism.
— Abyssous, Cryptic Throne, http://bit.ly/IlJsYsI am personally still a CD buyer and probably always will be. I like having the physical artwork in my hands. Mp3’s to me are not very attractive because I feel I’m not getting my money’s worth.

Hi Glenn!
Thanks for getting in touch. I’m currently in the process of sorting out a new layout for the site, but I’d be happy to trade links after that (hopefully either later on this weekend or just after the bank holiday!).
How did you want to do it? A simple text link or do you have a small image that could be displayed? I’m happy to do either.
Please feel free to email me at lou@louciferspeaks.com if you find it easier than writing on here.
Cheers,
Lou
Hello Lou
I’ve just stumbled across your website, and I was (like Glenn from Metalliville) wondering if you’d be interested in a little link and/or banner swappage.
The Wyrd Ways Rock Show (http://www.wyrdwaysrs.com) is a 2-3 hour weekly Hard Rock and Metal podcast, based here in the UK. I play old stuff, new stuff (including promo stuff), interviews and demos.
Let me know what you think.
Hi Carl,
This sounds good. I can put a link to your site on the Our Buddies page. Would this be ok?
I’ll send you an email as well, as I’m not sure if you’ll get a notification to say that I’ve replied to this.
Cheers,
Lou
