In addition to having the opportunity to have your say, you will also be entered into our prize draw to win a copy of Bloodshot Dawn‘s “Slaves to the Lie” on CD. Bloodshot Dawn’s self-titled album will be out on 26th January 2012, so make sure you keep an eye on their official Facebook page for more details. Game Info:

Panzer Clash is a light, card-based wargame for two to four Players about Second World War Panzer battles by Andreas Propst.

Pick a side, either Axis or Allies, and build a deck of 40 to 60 cards out of a pool of 100 different cards in order to defeat your enemy.
The deck or Supply contains Factories, Units, Events and Terrain Modifiers. Factories are needed to build Units and Terrain Modifiers as well as to power Events. Units and Events, which usually belong to one or more of the four factions (Germans, Japanese, Americans and Soviets) are used to attack and deal damage to the opponent, have certain beneficial effects on the game or are used to weaken the opponent. For each point of damage a Player receives through Units and Events, he or she puts one card from his or her Supply (deck) onto his or her Junkyard (discard-pile). If a player unable to draw a card from the Supply, he or she loses immediately.

Hope you’re all having an awesome week thus far. Here at AM, we’re gearing up for the Christmas rush so we’ve hired a few of Santa’s elves to make sure everything gets made and the reindeer are on the roof to make sure everything gets delivered. Well before all this chaos takes place, we’ve decided to have one more MEGA AWESOME competition for the rest of November.

This time we’ve decided to aim this prize frenzy at all the awesome bands that order from us and that we love making merchandise for. I’ve been in a band for ten years (still rubbish) and I know how hard it is to make money whilst touring so you can help the band to progress as well as making sure that you have enough money to eat and get to the next show. As I’m from the south, it was even harder for my band as we always had to eat at Marks & Spencer service stations. Their olives are simply divine!

Jokes aside, bands work hard creating awesome music for our listening pleasure. If you’re in a band, then you WILL want to enter this competition.

WHAT YOU HAVE TO DO!

1) Mail your one colour shirt design to Jhon@awesomemerchandise.com with your band name and website (Facebook address will do, no MySpace please!) PLEASE MAKE SURE IT’S A ONE COLOUR PRINT!

2) We’ll load it up to a Facebook gallery and then you tell everyone you know and your fans to go and ‘like’ it.

3) The shirt/design with the most ‘likes’ wins the first prize. Then we’ll give the second prize to the design WE like the best. There’s NO other prizes this time.

Please note, this competition is only open to bands. The shirt design must be for a band, your band even. Don’t send one in for the Smashing Pumpkins or Billy Ray Cyrus. You won’t be entered! You must be a real band as well and your winning design will be the one that gets printed. Solo artists are fine too! Our decision is final. Any whining from people, general misbehaviour or negative comments on other entries will mean an automatic ban from the comp and our Facebook page. A handful of people complained about the voting system last time. This comp will help promote both the bands that enter, awesome artwork and of course us. So please don’t spoil the fun for other people and if you don’t like it, don’t enter. This is only open to bands that come from places we ship to! WE WILL BE RUNNING COMPS FOR EVERYONE THROUGHOUT DECEMBER!

The comp closes at midnight on Wednesday November 30th, and the two winning bands will be announced the following day – December 1st.

This album will feature tracks spanning the Metal/Rock genres played by bands from across the planet.

Most of the tracks have been sorted (incidently, if your band would like to donate a track, get in touch now!) and all that’s left is to think of a name for the album. So, I’ve started thinking… and I’ve hit a bit of a brick wall. Can I think of a name that perfectly sums up how awesome this compilation is? Nope. Typical really…

But, I know there’s more than a handful of creative types out there in Internet-land… So, I ask you (yes, YOU!), to name this compilation album. A Pale Horse Named Death aka APHND is the brainchild of the following band members:

Sal Abruscato was born in Brooklyn, NY Started playing drums at age 10. He is the co-founder of Type O Negative with Peter Steele and performed on Slow, Deep & Hard, Origin Of The Feces, Bloody Kisses and various best of and soundtracks. Sal is the drummer for Life of Agony and performed on River Runs Red, Ugly, River Runs Again, Broken Valley. Additional projects include Supermassiv & My Mortality. He is now the singer, songwriter and guitarist for A PALE HORSE NAMED DEATH.

Matt Brown is a Brooklyn Native Producer, Engineer and Musician. As a seasoned Live Sound Engineer, he has toured the world and worked with major artists and acts such as Lou Reed, Laurie Anderson, Peter Gabriel, The Blind Boys of Allibama, Janes Addiction, Bob Ezrin, Hal Willner, Julian Schnabel, Antony and the Johnsons, Scissor Sisters, Gorillaz to name a few. As a Producer and Musician he co-founded and played guitar in Uranium 235 featuring members of Law And Order, Supermassiv featuring members of Life of Agony and Seventh Void featuring members of Type O Negative.
