Frantic Black Metal with hardcore horror influences and a dark overall mood, fast paced and full throttle throughout. All good points but "Slaves Of The Burning Pentagram" never truly inspires more than a casual interest, and comes across as rather two dimensional. Whilst their music is played well and with passion, it seems that Hellish Crossfire base their music more on their attitude than any musical flair. having said that this isn't a bad album and if you love it hard and heavy, then that’s one area that Hellish Crossfire do deliver.
