I couldn't help but smile when the opener "Binary World" started. It's that kind of
metal which always seems to raise my spirits. Neuronia play an interesting mix of
Death and Thrash with some other elements and, I would guess, that they could appeal
to fans of bands like President Evil. While at opposite ends of this spectrum, both
have a certain sound and both have an immense amount of energy.
I definitely feel that I'm going to be playing "Satan's Call" quite a bit. It has an
excellent groove and the monster noises add a fantastically spooky element to it...
and the drums at the end are excellent!
Overall, this is a great EP and gives a good insight into what the band are capable
of. I've noticed on their website that they will be working on a full length album
in the future... and I really hope that I get to hear it!
