What is Loucifer Speaks?
Loucifer Speaks is a Metal/Rock webzine… we also have a rather splendid forum. The zine itself covers pretty much anything to do with Metal and Rock.
Who writes the reviews?
Click here to see a list of our writers. Most of the reviews are written by myself (Loucifer / admin).
Can I write for Loucifer Speaks? Will I get paid?
Providing you have an opinion, have a passion for Metal/Rock and can throw a sentence together then you can write for Loucifer Speaks – just leave a comment somewhere on this site and we’ll have a chat. But, no, you will not get paid… I don’t even get paid…
I have a band. Will you review us?
Certainly! Send an email to lou[at]louciferspeaks.com or leave a comment on the site.
How do I get an avatar?
You may have noticed that when you post a comment on this site, you get a little box come up next to your name. As most people these days are relatively Internet savvy, I’ll assume that you know what an avatar is (if not, there’s a wonderful thing called Google that can answer most of life’s little questions). Anyway, to get an avatar on this here site, you’ll need to sign up to something called Gravatar. Once you’ve signed up and added a photo/image then it will automatically be displayed whenever you post a comment here (so long as you’ve supplied the correct email address). Simples!
More questions will be added as and when we get ‘em!

Quotes
The lyrics are mainly based in fantasy, and try to convey a larger concept, peppered with metaphors that hint at some very personal events and feelings.
— Ruptured Souls, The Furious Horde, http://bit.ly/HyfPUxCryptic Throne is a dark shamanic ritual. An entity which exists for the Primordial Thursian Worship of Dark Germanic Heathenism.
— Abyssous, Cryptic Throne, http://bit.ly/IlJsYs...so now we’re thinking about the next step. And don’t worry. When we hit the road, I guarantee we won’t miss the UK!
— Damyen, Northern Plague, http://bit.ly/JuT8SgEven when all seems fine Plaag will still be around to do a little tormenting here and there...
— Somber von Plaag, Plaag, http://bit.ly/IvTyW2The underlying theme is through the discovery of truth we find ultimate hopelessness. Each song explores death in a different context and theme.
— Voldamares, Eclipse Eternal, http://bit.ly/Hv2kYEI am personally still a CD buyer and probably always will be. I like having the physical artwork in my hands. Mp3’s to me are not very attractive because I feel I’m not getting my money’s worth.
— Will, Vesperian Sorrow, http://bit.ly/Hx69gWI think illegal downloading is fine if you download just to listen, and if you like it, you buy it. If you don’t like it, delete it off your computer.
— Mike Priest, Absence of the Sacred, http://bit.ly/IGNpWkYou give me a stage and you will see the difference between Nokturnel and most other bands.
— Tom Stevens, Nokturnel, http://bit.ly/Injd6yI think more bands should prioritize exposure over sales. The more exposure, the more sales. Be it ticket sales, album sales, or merch sales. That’s the way I see it.
— Necrol, Secrets She Kept, http://bit.ly/HEaNHXWe don’t adhere to any specific writing style. If something works, it gets improved, then it gets used!
