This was one awesome concert. The bands that played (in order) were Into Eternity, Redemption, and Dream theater. Overall the show was simply amazing. I saw people of all ages there, dads taking their kids to the show and whatnot. By the way it was a SOLD OUT show, im lucky I got my ticket. While waiting outside, I saw Mike Portney sitting at a resteraunt eating.

Into Eternity was good but they did not strike me as stunning. It seems like the singer was using the fact they are from Canada as an excuse. He's all talking about winter and Canada (like we don't have winter =P) The songs were cool, but stage resense could be better. Overall the crowd didn't really react that well to them.

Redemption was really good. I liked these guys alot. The show was good, the tunes kicked ass, what more can I say? If i had the money I'd buy their cds.

Dream Theater. f**king AMAZING. Lots of songs from all their albums, new songs too. I loved the N.A.D.S. ( North American Dream Society) video they showed. It was Dream Theater in cartoon form fighting some monster thing. If you can find that one on YouTube, watch it. Petrucci was great. But damn he looks like he could break those guitars like nothing, he was f**king muscular.

What sucked is i only had $30 and shirts were $35 so I ended up getting a program and two wristbands. This was still one of the best shows I've attended. I hope to see Dream Theater next time they travel through Houston.
